2008
Matt has donned his chef’s hat again on UKTV Food in Mitch and Matt’s Big Fish, which see’s him touring Britain cooking and sampling great fish dishes.
 
2007
Matt went on air to present BBC Radio 5 Lives’ Rugby coverage of the Six Nations Championship and the Rugby World Cup. Along completing his first London Marathon in 4 hours 35 minutes and 39 seconds.
 
2006
After a successful rugby career, Matt retired from aged 33 to pursue the next stage of career and the offers have not stopped flooding in! Matt’s debut in the media world was as a pundit and writer for the BBC’s Grandstand and Britain’s press, including The Telegraph.

He then took part and won Celebrity Masterchef and waltz his way to the finals of Strictly Come Dancing, with dance partner Lilia Kopylova, only to be piped to the winning post by Mark Rampakash.
 
2004
Matt took his first TV role as team captain on ‘A Question of Sport.’

Spotted as a great talent, he joined the England squad in their game against Western Samoa at Twickenham in December 1995

With his England career in full swing he became a key player in England’s Grand Slam and World Cup victories.
